WHICH STEEL MACE IS BEST FOR YOU?
With the unusual weight distribution in a steel mace it is very easy to choose a mace weight that is too much. Even experienced strongmen and body builders when lifting steel maces for the first time think they are far heavier than they are. This is because the levers involved particularly with our extra long macebells put massive stresses on your muscles and joints. Hence there superb training effect.
For beginners and people who don’t train often. For older post 50 yrs old people. Ladies who don’t train and ladies who are not very strong please start with this weight.
For strong women and men who train regularly, men who are of average strength and stronger. Gradually work up to a session consisting of 500 reps. Not easy, this will be your first milestone.
For very strong men and men who have trained with maces before. This is a great weight if you are a fit and strong person. Using this weight and not going higher will produce massive strength gains.
Professional (Standard Weight)
For extremely strong men and men who have trained extensively with maces before. This is a difficult mace to use because of its length and massive diameter. 500 reps of this and you are exceptional.
